Peter has now been in Real Estate for nearly 37 years but started life out after school doing accounting at Wollongong Taffe and completed that in 1974.. He then went on and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at Wollongong University in 1979, then in 1983 Peter obtained his Real Estate licence through the 3-year real estate course at Wollongong Tafe. He began his real estate career working for Don Cameron Real Estate, based in Figtree (Wollongong). From that start Peter spent the next 9 years selling everything from units, houses, single blocks of land, small subdivisions, through to the 2nd Community Title subdivision developed in NSW, (109 blocks) located in Kanahooka (a southern suburb of Wollongong). Following his time in Wollongong, Peter moved to Queensland where he spent 2 years there selling real estate. Certainly different to the NSW style.
Just before Peter moved to Queensland he met his now wife of 26 years, Lea and while they were in Queensland a little surprise packet turned up.. their son Dylan. That was the sign they needed to settle down somewhere permanently.. Coffs Harbour was on the radar and that's where they went and are obviously still here to this day.
To ask Peter how much property he has sold in his career would be impossible… However, he will tell you he has been through every type of market..very bad, ok, good, pretty good and great and has learnt from these different markets how to help all his clients, no matter what the market conditions bring. From this and his 37 years of experience he knows what it takes to get that very “Best Price” for everybody, anywhere. Peter has had 4 children, A son Paul, (who he lost many years ago), a son Matthew who lives in New Zealand, a beautiful daughter (Nicky) who runs a top child care centre in Bucca and his youngest son Dylan, Dylan is not only a licensed carpenter but has now started working with Peter (Dad) in Real Estate.
Peter's hobbies are real estate (yes real estate), horses and painting.. Peter lives and breathes real estate and lives by the philosophy: do what you love most and you will not only enjoy your job but you will be great at it.
